Just east of the Fairmount neighborhood and north of Spring Garden, Francisville is home to rich Philadelphia history and beautiful architecture – from the Metropolitan Opera House to William Penn’s Vineyards.
This summer and fall, the Francisville Neighborhood Development Corporation (FNDC) and its supporters invite you to the neighborhood! Join us on Saturdays, starting on June 2 and running through October 27, at the Francisville Farmers’ Market.
Meet local farmers, check out Philly’s best food trucks, indulge in prepared foods, and access the freshest produce, poultry, meats, cheeses, and more! Local artisans will sell their wares – handmade candles, jewelry, and art – and a changing roster of free educational workshops around nutrition and wellness will be made available to all attendees. Click HERE for a full list of vendors and workshops.
First Saturdays of the month the market turns into a festival! Bring the family and enjoy live entertainment, fun activities, and, as always, plenty of food for purchase. Bring a blanket and stay a while, there’s plenty of room to stretch out. Click HERE for the First Saturday schedule.
HAVE YOU VISITED THE FRANCISVILLE FARMER’S MARKET?
Remember to share your photos of your favorite moments at the market, of items you purchased, or photos of meals you created with items from the market!
We’d love to see all your wonderful ideas on Twitter (#FrancisvilleFarmersMarket) and Facebook!
